Thanks for visiting my online portfolio! I am Brandon Gentis. I am from Mattawan, MI which is outside of Kalamazoo. I am now currently attending Grand Valley State University pursuing a career in Music Education. I plan on teaching high school level music classes and if possible moving to college level music. Music has played a vital role in my life. Music has taught me so much about myself and what is needed to be successful in life. Self-confidence is a big thing that music has taught me and I want to be able to at least show my students the wonderful things music can do and is doing in today's world. If anything is taken away from me when I am teaching I want it to be that four key traits are important: determination, perseverance, hard work, and self-confidence
